Why it works upstairs

• Swings both ways and the hinge plates rotate, so you can mount it inside, outside or even on the face of a balustrade.
• One-hand opening with an adult-strength squeeze-and-lift catch.
• Solid wood slats with a clear lacquer; hardware packs include white and black covers so you can match your skirting.

Install tips

• Use the paper drilling template to keep the hinge plates perfectly level; shim behind the plates if walls are uneven.
• Always mount to solid timber, brick or plugged plasterboard (12.5 mm + solid noggins).
• The latch block can mount on either side—flip it if you need the gate to pull downhill.
