Deense engineers designed the BabyDan Senior for the awkward mix of curious toddlers, enthusiastic dogs and narrow stair cores. The adjustable metal frame clamps straight into masonry or timber with swivelling wall cups, so you get a rock-solid barrier without any trip bar at floor level. Once mounted, the 104 cm tall door lifts out in seconds when you want a clear opening and drops back in with a single-handed latch.

• One-hand double lock: push-and-lift latch keeps little hands and paws contained but lets adults operate it while carrying laundry or a child.

Installation notes

Senior spans 60.5–106.8 cm with the supplied sections and cannot be extended. Fix the latch side inside the reveal (in de dag) for the strongest anchor; the hinge side may sit flush on the frame or wall. Use the supplied wedges or packers to bridge skirting boards and always drill into solid wood, brick or concrete. Once aligned, tighten the four clamps evenly so the door self-closes without rubbing.
